Thank you so much for joining me on this little adventure of mine.
In 2025, I decided to devote myself to writing and delivering a newsletter about the one hobby I love most: Pokemon.
With the market climb in Q3 and the beginning of Q4, I sat out from buying Pokemon TCG, largely focusing on my family and the life that was happening around me.
But my focus in 2026 has been renewed, in large part because of the 30th anniversary of Pokemon and the excitement headed into this year. We have exciting TCG news, collaboration announcements with fast food chains and different sportswear brands, as well as some highly anticipated video game news headed our way.
And my main focus will be to share the news and geek out in excitement over everything that's happening this year.
I'm planning several changes to ensure consistent delivery of this newsletter:
Changing the day the newsletter is delivered allows for additional time to write and compose my thoughts for the long-form section. This also allows for emergency newsletter delivery later in the week while still being able to cover any new news from The Pokemon Company International that usually drops early Tuesday mornings.
2. Evergreen Posts
I will be posting content on the website that will deliver as a newsletter but will be evergreen posts on the newsletter site. This means that the weekly newsletter will not be visible unless you are signed in to the newsletter site.
3. Affiliate Links
We will slowly incorporate more affiliate links and advertised content in the newsletter as the year progresses. The newsletter itself and the content that the Tuesday weekly newsletter delivers will never be paywalled. But any of the links you click—whether it's links to eBay listings for the PSA graded market watch section or product links to the accessories I personally use—will help support the newsletter.
We're almost 25% of the way to my subscriber goal of 100, so thank you all for supporting this fun passion project of mine!
With all that said, the newsletter is officially back on the first Tuesday of February 2026! Looking forward to what we can create through this community we're building through TCG Pocket Money.
